PhD in Political Science.
Born on March 19, 1970, in Kyiv.
Graduated from secondary school in 1987 in Riga.
1987 – Entered the Lviv Military Institute of Culture, Faculty of Journalism, from which he graduated in 1991.
1988 – One of the founders of the KVN team “Eskadron Husar” (Squadron of Hussars), which became KVN champions in 1990.
1991 – Correspondent for the newspaper of the Volga District of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
1993 – Head of the Press Service of the Volga District of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (Nizhny Novgorod).
1995 – Staff member of the Press Center of the United Group of the Armed Forces of Russia in the Chechen Republic (Khankala).
1996 – Special correspondent in the Nizhny Novgorod region for Nezavisimaya Gazeta, the magazine Ogonyok, and the Latvian newspaper SM-segodnya.
